I live in North Liverpool, about a 30 minute walk from Anfield Football Stadium, home of Liverpool Football Club, the best team in the world. I’ve been to Anfield more times than I can count, including for my Year 11 Prom but I’ve never actually been to a football match…any football match. It’s been on my bucket list basically forever, but just seems to have been one of those things I’ve never gotten around to. Plus, tickets are expensive as hell.
Considering that, when we got given some free tickets in work (Since the University of Liverpool and the LFC Foundation are teaming up to sponsor an Into University centre), it seemed like a sign to finally tick it off my bucket list.

Last week I was lucky enough to get to go along to the Concert Room of St George’s Hall (Literally one of the most beautiful rooms I’ve ever seen) for the launch of Sibro VR – a totally amazing experience! Sibro are a Liverpool company who specialise in using virtual reality equipment to supplement and improve the education experience for young people, which is something I support literally 1000%. They create immersive education experiences that multiple people can experience all at once, just using a VR headset and a pair of headphones.
Anyone who knows me knows I love a piercing, much to the despair of my mum. I spent most of my teenage years begging for snakebite lip piercings and practically sprinted to a piercer the day I was allowed to get my nostril pierced. Over the years I’ve had 13 piercings total (including the new addition!), mostly in my ears, and I still have 10 in today! I’ll probably even add to that, payday is looming…
Anyways, I decided just before Christmas to treat myself to a new piercing to jazz my face up. I knew it HAD to be a septum piercing – I’ve loved it since I fell in love with Zacky Vengeance from Avenged Sevenfold when I was 13, and I’ve actually had it done once before – sadly I had a boyfriend who hated it not long after I got it done and ended up taking it out cause he hated it, and actually used to flick me in it – disappointed in past me and her lack of a backbone :(
