I visited the Independent Liverpool Baltic Market | Food | Review

I’ve been a huge fan of Independent Liverpool for ages. In fact they’re one of my favourite things about Liverpool. If you haven’t already heard of them (where have you been?!), they’re two best mates dedicated to supporting, promoting and helping independent Liverpool business grow – from the smallest ones to the ones already standing on their own two feet and rocking it. They have a website which lists a ton of independent businesses who have got involved with their Independent Liverpool card – a super cheap (£15 for one or 2 for £20!) card that gives you all kinds of wild discounts at said independent businesses. Super cool, right?

As well as a really useful website and a nifty card they also do a ton of very cool events themselves and promote other independent events within the city. What one of my favourite things about Independent Liverpool is, is that they continually innovate and announce new, exciting things…the newest and most exciting of which is the Baltic Market!

To conclude, Blink 182 were an absolutely pivotal band in my teenage years. They were, by miles, my gateway band. I listened to every band they said had influenced them, every band who toured with them, every band who they had a link with, to the point that they were personally responsible for at least like 40% of my iPod. And yet I’ve never actually seen them live! They’re actually one of the last bands left on my music bucket list, and I got to tick this off this weekend.
